I was fortunate to travel recently to the beautiful islands of Fiji. I arrived early morning and boarded the efficient launch to Mana Island. The warm embrace of Fijian hospitality began as we arrived to traditional singing and welcome drinks.
The island of Mana is a tropical paradise with many different types of accommodation on offer. Families of 4 can be comfortably accommodated in duplex rooms and honeymooners will not be disappointed with the beachfront bures.
Leaving Mana, I sailed to what I can only describe as ‘paradise’ – the island of Malolo. From the moment you step ashore to the sounds of the Fijian singers you are considered to be ‘family’. The people welcome you so openly with their genuine hospitality. The beaches are pristine, the service impeccable, and the high standard of accommodation complements the atmosphere of the resort. The neighbouring resort of Liku Liku is a simply stunning hideaway for couples and honeymooners boasting the same high standards as Malolo with a few additional romantic touches.
All in all, I fell in love with Fiji and I hope once we talk, you may fall for Fiji too!
